In this course, you will learn about the Earth’s physical environment including climate, non-renewable geological resources, renewable geological resources, geological hazards and remediation. You will acquire basic skills in geology such as understand earth materials, minerals, igneous and metamorphic rocks, oceanography, principles of astronomy, deformation of the Earth, sedimentary processes, earth surface processes, and field methods.
