This course provides you with the necessary knowledge and competencies to protect, improve and maintain the health of individuals and communities . It prepares you for gainful employment in diverse health settings both in the public and private health sectors. Here you will be trained in the fields of epidemiology, prevention and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases, health systems management, biostatistics, research methodology, health promotion, occupational health, environmental health, health-risk assessment, population health, public health policy and leadership. The training is conducted through didactic lectures, tutorials, case studies, seminars, workshops, field visits and presentations by an expert team of academics with many years of real-world public health experience both locally and internationally.
