In this course, you will be able to understand the role of design and the designer within a professional context. Here you will have a theoretical and critical perspective of design within its cultural, social, political, and economic context. You will also be able to align the design and development of interior spaces with the architectural contact and building envelope. You will understand design interior spaces in a rational, sensitive and articulate manner that contributes to the creation of a physical framework for a fair, equitable, and sustainable society.

Entry Requirements
| Education Level | Results |
| STPM | STPM with minimum 2 Grade C including Mathematics and credit in SPM Bahasa Malaysia, Pendidikan Seni / Lukisan Kejuruteraan and pass SPM Bahasa Inggeris; or |
| UEC | UEC with minimum 5 Grade B including Mathematics and credit in SPM Bahasa Malaysia or equivalent; or |
| Diploma | A recognized Diploma in related field with CGPA 2.00 and above; or |
| Matriculation | Pass Matriculation programme or Foundation in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00 and credit in SPM Bahasa Malaysia or equivalent; or |
| Others | Any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian government; AND i. Pass Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with at least Band 1; and ii. Credit in English 1119 or any English qualification recognized by BCU or pass BCU’s English Placement Test; and iii. Submit a minimum of three (3) A3 size (420mm x 297mm) drawings / paintings / designs (personal choice of media, technique and subject matter). Note: For applicants with Diploma qualification, please also submit your final year Diploma Project Portfolio (to be saved in CD in pdf or jpeg format). |
