This course seeks to provide you with strong knowledge in telecommunications in line with the growing importance of digital and wireless networks. You are required to develop your analytical thinking and to design new uses of technology for the betterment of the society. You will gain essential and practical knowledge in the design of electronic systems and how they function. Through this, you will also be exposed to the modern and sophisticated equipment in the design of telecommunication systems which could include satellite communications, data networks, mobile communications, optical fibre, software systems, networking systems, data compressions, encryption and many more. You will gain in depth electronics and telecommunications knowledge and will be able to apply this knowledge in real world problem solving.
