Nilai University or also known as Nilai U is a private university located in Nilai, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan Malaysia. Formerly founded as Nilai College in 1997, it was upgraded to a University College in 2007 and received full university status as of 2012. The Malaysian Qualifications Agency rated Nilai University as Excellent (Setara 5) in 2011. This was also confirmed in 2013 in another rating exercise. Nilai University sits on a 105 acre campus about 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport or about half an hour away from Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
Nilai University is also a green campus, making it popular amongst local and international students. It has an approximate 35% of international students in the campus. Jointly owned by Nilai Resources Group and Felda Global Ventures Holding Berhad (FGV), Nilai University has 5 faculties which houses a combined total of 11 Departments. These faculties range from Business to Engineeringm Hospitality and Tourism, Humanities & Social Sciences and also Science & Technology.
