Doctor of Medicine at Lincoln University College

Description

The Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Lincoln University College is a five-year programme that begins with two years of foundational studies in basic medical sciences, followed by three years of clinical training. The curriculum emphasises early clinical exposure, problem-based and case-based learning, and continuous integration of basic sciences throughout the clinical phase. Students are trained to develop strong medical knowledge, practical clinical skills, and professional ethics. Upon completion, graduates are prepared for careers in community health, hospital practice, medical research, or further specialisation.

Entry Requirement

Minimum B or CGPA 3.0 in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Mathematics

Minimum B in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Mathematics

Minimum Grade B4s each in 5 subjects including Biology and Chemistry and Physics and Advanced Mathematics I / Mathematics or Advanced Mathematics II / Advanced Mathematics

CGPA of 3.0 in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry Physics or Mathematics and minimum CGPA of 3.0

Successful completion of a relevant Foundation / Pre-University Programme with minimum CGPA 3.0, but preferably CGPA of 3.0 in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry Physics or Mathematics AND
Pass SPM with minimum of 5Bs each in Biology and Chemistry and two from Mathemics or Additional Mathematics or Physics, and one other subject

Successful completion of a Diploma in Health Sciences or any relevant Diploma programme with minimum CGPA 3.5, and not less than 5 semesters or 2 1/2 years and was completed at the same institution and ODL mode is not allowed

Overall 33 points in 2 science subjects (Biology and Chemistry) and Mathematics and minimum score of 5 each in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics

Successful completion of a Degree in Health Sciences, Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences or any relevant Bachelor Degree programme with a CGPA of 3.0 for entry to 5 year medical programme or a CGPA of 3.3 for entry to 4 year medical programme

Successful completion of a relevant Master Degree programme
