Description

The Diploma in Early Childhood Education is a comprehensive programme designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and professional values required to support the holistic development of young children from birth to early childhood. The programme covers key areas such as child growth and development, early learning theories, curriculum planning, classroom management, health and safety, and observation and assessment of children’s learning progress. Students are also trained in effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues, as well as inclusive and ethical practices in early childhood settings. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical training, including supervised teaching practice, graduates are well equipped to work as early childhood educators, childcare practitioners, or preschool assistants, and to pursue further studies in early childhood education or related fields.
