The Bachelor of Hospitality Management (Hons) at UOW Malaysia is a comprehensive undergraduate programme designed to equip students with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to succeed in the dynamic global hospitality and tourism industry. This programme integrates hospitality management theories with hands-on learning to ensure graduates are industry-ready and capable of adapting to real-world challenges. Students gain a strong foundation in key areas such as hospitality operations, financial and human resource management, marketing, customer experience, hospitality law, and food and beverage management, while also developing essential communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The programme also offers specialisation options in Tourism Management and Events Management, allowing students to deepen their expertise in areas such as international tourism development, event planning, MICE management, and risk management. Supported by industry engagement, internship opportunities, and a globally recognised curriculum, graduates are well prepared for supervisory and managerial roles across hotels, resorts, event management companies, tourism organisations, and other service-related industries at both local and international levels.
