With ever growing attention and investment from policy makers, EEE has become a crucial and pivoting sector behind the stages of local and global industrial revolutions.; The Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) aims to help students in becoming professionals with profound ability to spearhead and facilitate the development in the electrical and electronic sectors on the national and international fronts. This programme is offered under the School of Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence of XMUM. The school has established extensive ties through academic exchange and cooperation with many world-renowned universities and well-established enterprises, ensuring a good handshake of technological advancements worldwide. With a strong link to the local and international industries, the school ensures that all staff are at the forefront of their own discipline and have an up-to-date appreciation of state-of-the-art technology developments and research directions. In additional to the strong support from XMU, the Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme at XMUM will also benefit from the intensive research activities conducted in-campus and off-campus in various sub-fields, such as intelligent robotics, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), smart manufacturing, and advanced electronics, most of which are highly industry-related.

Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent
