The Master of Computing (By Research) is a postgraduate programme designed for students who wish to advance their knowledge and expertise in computing through in-depth research and scholarly investigation. Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
  • or a CGPA between 2.50 and 2.99 may be accepted subject to a rigorous internal assessment
  • or a CGPA between 2.00 and 2.49 may be accepted with at least 5 years of relevant work experience and a rigorous internal assessment. For a Bachelor’s degree in a non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, admission may be granted subject to appropriate prerequisite courses or rigorous internal assessment as determined by the HEP. Other qualifications equivalent or higher than a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields recognised by the Government of Malaysia must meet the above criteria.
