Description

The BBA (Hons.) Human Resource Management at MMU is a three‑year, full-time undergraduate programme designed to prepare students to manage and develop human capital effectively in modern organisations. The curriculum combines a strong foundation in business fundamentals — such as accounting, finance, marketing, management, and quantitative analysis — with specialised HRM training including recruitment and selection, compensation & benefits, performance management, industrial relations, labour law, occupational safety and health, and human resource information systems. Throughout the programme, emphasis is placed on soft skills, communication, organisational behaviour, strategy formulation, and labour/industrial relations — equipping graduates for roles as HR professionals, corporate recruiters, labour‑relations managers, training & development officers, or organisational development consultants. Structured coursework is complemented by industrial training and a capstone HRM research project, ensuring students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience to meet real‑world business challenges.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any two STPM subjects or its equivalent, with a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or their equivalents.

  • Minimum of Grade D in any two A-Level subjects, with a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 credits (5Bs) including English OR a minimum of Grade C in SPM/O-Level English or equivalent

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.00 in Foundation or Matriculation studies from a recognised institution.

  • Successful completion of Foundation or Matriculation studies from a recognised institution with a minimum CGPA of 2.01

  • Successful completion of any qualification equivalent to a Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
