The Foundation in Business at MMU Melaka is a one-year, full-time pre-university programme designed to provide students with a strong academic and practical foundation for pursuing business-related degree programmes. The programme introduces core business concepts, including economics, accounting, finance, business management, and quantitative analysis, while also developing essential skills in communication, critical thinking, and personal finance management. Students gain exposure to practical business environments through entrepreneurship-oriented tasks, industry talks, and field activities, ensuring a smooth transition from high school to university-level studies. The curriculum spans three trimesters and covers subjects such as microeconomics, cost and management accounting, financial accounting, digital business, group dynamics, and academic English. Upon successful completion, graduates are well-prepared to progress into a wide range of business degree programmes offered by MMU, including accounting, finance, marketing, human resource management, international business, and digital business management, making it an ideal pathway for students aiming to build a strong foundation for their future careers in business.
