The Master of Research (MRes) in Psychology is a research-intensive postgraduate programme designed to equip students with advanced skills in independent investigation, experimental design, and data analysis within the field of psychology. The programme focuses on a substantial research project supported by specialist training in research methodology, cognitive and behavioural assessment, statistical analysis, and scientific communication. Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree programme equivalent to an upper second-class honours degree (2:1) in psychology or a related discipline, as assessed against the required standard. Applicants must hold a qualification from a recognised university and are required to read and comply with the MQA Standards, Programme Standards, and the Application Checklist prior to submitting an application
