Security Technology is designed to develop knowledge and skills in security management and technologies necessary for employment in areas such as government and corporate security, strategic facilities security, private sector and retail security, financial institutions and major security organisations.; The course emphasises on the functions and management of security technology in the protection of assets and is supported by appropriate studies in cyber law and ethics. Graduates of this course will be equipped for a career in the security industry.

Entry Requirement

Minimum grade C (CGPA 2.0) in any 2 subjects with a Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent

Minimum grade D in any 2 subjects with a Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent

Minimum 5 credits (5B6s) inclusive of Mathematics and English

Minimum CGPA of 2.0 with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent

Successful completion of a relevant Foundation / Pre-U programme with minimum CGPA 2.0 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level

Successful completion of a relevant Computing Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with minimum CGPA 2.5

Minimum average of 55% in 6 subjects

Minimum ATAR 60

Minimum 26 points and above in 6 subjects
