Description

The Master of Science in Computer Science programme will train students to carry out research in current and emerging fields within the Information Technology industry. With the aim of expanding a student's intellect by nurturing advanced knowledge in specialist technical subject areas, our focus is to enable students to lead future developments be it in industry or in academia.

Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
  • or a CGPA between 2.00 and 3.00 in Computing or related fields subject to internal assessment
  • or a Bachelor’s degree in a non-Computing field with CGPA ≥ 2.50 subject to internal assessment and completion of appropriate prerequisite courses, based on relevant work experience or otherwise.

  • Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Computing or related fields recognised by the Government of Malaysia must fulfil the following requirement: i. with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
  • OR ii. with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 but less than of 3.00 can be accepted subject to internal assessment
