Description

The Program, Mechanical Engineering Technology is the broadest areas of engineering activity. It describes the application of principles of physics for analysis, design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. It requires a solid understanding of core concepts including applied mechanics, application of engineering principles and technological developments to the creation of useful machinery or products. This programs designs of mechanical tools, machines, and products. The management area prepares students to manage people, resources, and systems related to mechanical engineering and manufacturing.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in any two STPM subjects or equivalent, with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.

  • Minimum Grade C in any two A-Level subjects or equivalent, including Mathematics, with credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level or equivalent

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.0 in Matriculation or recognized Foundation
  • OR UEC with at least grade B in five subjects including Mathematics and English

  • Successful completion of a Matriculation or Foundation programme, or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.0
  • OR Passed the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in five subjects including Mathematics and English.

  • Successful completion of a Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0, including credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.
