The Master of International Relations (By Research) program at Lincoln University College is for students who want to learn more about the world’s most pressing issues, such as international conflict and instability, terrorism, climate change, and rapid globalization. It teaches the pupils how to apply and leverage methodology and study design to answer the most critical societal concerns of our time, based on a deep understanding of international relations theory. The curriculum will provide them with a thorough understanding of what international relations has to say about some of the most pressing issues in international politics, as well as the necessary tools and knowledge of research design to analyze political data.

Entry Requirement

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in International Relations or an equivalent qualification from related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, as accepted by the Lincoln University College Senate
  • or a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in International Relations or equivalent from related fields with a CGPA between 2.50 and 2.74 may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment
  • or a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in International Relations or equivalent from related fields with a CGPA below 2.50 may be accepted subject to a minimum of five years of relevant working experience.
