Description

The Islamic Studies is a part of a moderate arts programme offered at undergraduate level at this University. Islamic Studies attempts to revise the whole range of Islamic civilization and culture. Its main interests include, beside the religion of Islam, topics such as the socio-economic structure, military, administration, development of various sciences and thought, cultural life, cosmology, mysticism, literature and fine arts, and many other aspects of Islamic civilization. It provides students a prospect to revise the expansion of Islamic history, civilization and culture from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in one STPM subject in Islamic Studies or Arabic and one other subject, or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum Grade C in any two A-Level subjects or equivalent, including one Islamic Studies subject and one other subject.

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.0 in Matriculation/Foundation/Foundation from any recognized university, college, or institution offering foundation programs in related fields

  • Successful completion of Matriculation, Foundation, or an equivalent program from any recognised university, college, or institution offering Foundation programs in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.

  • Successful completion of a Diploma in Islamic Studies (Level 4, MQF) or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.

  • Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
