The Bachelor of Microelectronic Technology with Honours programme equips students with essential knowledge and skills in electronics, semiconductor technology and artificial intelligence (AI), preparing them for the evolving demands of the microelectronics industry. The three-year programme offers two years of on-campus learning with an optional one-year Work-Based Learning pathway (2U1I), allowing students to undertake an industry placement while earning academic credits and developing industry-specific skills. Recognised by the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT), the programme provides graduates with professional recognition and enhances their competitiveness in the field. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical training and industry exposure, the programme prepares graduates for careers in microelectronics, semiconductor manufacturing and AI-driven technologies.
