Description

The Petroleum Engineering programme provides students with a well-balanced curriculum that develops both breadth and depth across key areas of petroleum engineering. Students build a strong foundation in oil and gas exploration, production and development while gaining knowledge in areas such as petroleum geology, petroleum economics and well completion. The programme provides access to well-equipped laboratories and advanced computer facilities with licensed engineering software, including NEXUS, COMPASS and t-navigator, as well as other commercial reservoir simulation tools. Through industry-based projects and exposure to industry experts, students develop practical knowledge and problem-solving skills, preparing them to address industry challenges and develop innovative solutions for society and organisations
