The Diploma of Engineering Technology (Industrial Design) programme equips students with the technical knowledge, design skills and industry insights required to pursue careers in industrial design. The programme focuses on skills-based learning, enabling students to operate computer-aided design systems, work with computing technologies and explore concepts related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Students develop the ability to conceptualise, prototype and refine designs using technologies such as computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D printing while gaining practical experience through design projects based on real-world scenarios. The programme also offers electives in areas such as product design, process engineering design, environmental process design, and electrical and electronics system design, allowing students to align their studies with their career interests and employment goals
