The Diploma in Electronic & Computer Engineering at AIMST University is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in electronics and computer engineering by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical skills to meet the evolving demands of the industry. The programme combines core engineering principles with modern computing technologies to prepare graduates for careers in electronics, computing, and emerging technology sectors while supporting seamless progression into bachelor's degree programmes through structured credit transfer mechanisms in accordance with Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) guidelines. Entry Requirement

  • Pass with at least credits in Mathematics and Natural Sciences or Technical-based subjects

  • Successful completion of an Accredited Certificate in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Technical
  • Malaysian Skills Certificate Level with PT3 or equivalent

  • Successful completion of Matriculation Technical / Science Stream

  • Recognized related Technical/Vocational Skills qualification AND an adequate and relevant bridging programme
  • APEL A as prescribed by MQA based on appropriate justifications by the IHL
  • Other qualifications will be assessed and approved on a case-by-case basis
