The Bachelor of Education (Hons) at SEGi University is designed to prepare future educators with strong foundations in education, psychology, curriculum development, and classroom practice. Through a blend of academic learning and hands-on experience, graduates develop the skills needed to become effective and impactful educators. Students can personalise their studies by choosing from four specialisations: Guidance and Counselling, Special Needs Education, TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language), or Early Childhood Education. Entry Requirement

  • Minimum grade C (CGPA 2.0) in any TWO subjects

  • Minimum of CC/DD in any subject

  • Minimum 5 credits (Grade B) including Chinese Language (for specialisation in Chinese Education students)

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.0

  • Successful completion of a relevant Foundation with CGPA 2.00

  • Successful completion of a Diploma programme (Level 4, MQF) in any field with at least CGPA of 2.00 out of 4:00
  • Successful completion of a A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) subject to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval
  • Successful completion of an Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) with CGPA of 2.00 out of 4:00
