Description

The Master of Science in Healthcare entails a course of study in the area of healthcare and focuses on it in greater depth than a bachelor｡ｯs degree. A normal master｡ｯs degree can be earned in one to three years and gives students the in-depth knowledge they need to develop their careers in a variety of professions. A graduate with a Master of Health Science degree will have strong clinical research technique skills that they can use in their academic and professional pursuits. The course is designed for students who wish to learn how to use epidemiological and statistical techniques to assess and carry out clinical research. Clinicians and clinical administrators who complete the Master of Science in Healthcare program are given the leadership vision and operational abilities necessary to spearhead successful quality improvement and safety projects within their own healthcare organizations.
