Description

This Master of Science in Medical and Health Sciences is a postgraduate research-based programme that provides students with a deeper understanding of key areas in medical and health sciences. The programme includes core modules in quantitative and qualitative research design, data analysis, and biostatistics to strengthen research knowledge and skills. Through individual supervised projects, students also learn to apply research methods in practical settings while developing an understanding of research ethics.

Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a relevant Bachelor Degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, or related fields with minimum CGPA 2.75 or equivalent from a recognized university, as accepted by the HEP Senate
  • or minimum CGPA 2.50 and not meeting CGPA 2.75, subject to rigorous internal assessment
  • or minimum CGPA 2.00 and not meeting CGPA 2.50, with at least 5 years working experience in the relevant field and subject to rigorous internal assessment
