Description

This Occupational Therapy programme prepares students to support individuals with physical, psychosocial, or developmental impairments and disabilities in living more independently and safely at home, in the workplace, and in the community. The field focuses on helping clients improve their ability to take part in daily activities through therapeutic interventions, assistive and adaptive devices, mobility aids, orthotics and prosthetics, as well as environmental modifications. It also involves holistic assessment of a client’s condition and function, with recommendations to improve participation, well-being, and quality of life.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum 2 grade C+ (GPA 2.33) in TWO (2) of the following subjects: Biology, Physics / Mathematics, Chemistry.

  • Minimum of Grade D in TWO (2) of the following subjects: Biology, Physics / Mathematics, Chemistry.

  • Minimum 5 credits with Grade B5 including Chemistry, Biology / Physics, and 3 other subjects.

  • Minimum CGPA 2.33 with Grade C+ in TWO (2) of the following subjects: Biology, Physics / Mathematics, Chemistry.

  • Successful completion of a relevant Foundation in Science / Pre-University programme or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.33 or Grade C+ in TWO (2) of the following subjects: Biology, Physics / Mathematics, Chemistry.

  • Successful completion of a relevant Diploma from recognized institutions with minimum CGPA 2.75 in a related field
  • or minimum CGPA below 2.75 in a related field with at least 3 years (36 months) working experience in a related field.

  • Minimum average of 55% in THREE (3) subjects including Chemistry, Biology / Physics, and 1 other subject.

  • Minimum 24 points including Chemistry and Biology / Physics.
