Description

This Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme is completed over 5 years, with the first 2 years focusing on pre-clinical subjects and clinical training beginning from Year 3 onwards. Students spend much of their clinical years in modern facilities, including 3 student polyclinics with 51 dental units each and a well-equipped prosthetic laboratory. The programme offers comprehensive and value-based dental education supported by up-to-date technology, helping students develop the clinical experience needed for general dental practice. It also includes hospital dentistry, community programmes, and postings in general medicine and general surgery through partner institutions, allowing students to build knowledge, clinical skills, and effective communication in a real working environment.
