Description

This MBBS programme is delivered over 10 semesters, with Semesters 1 to 4 focusing on Phase 1 pre-clinical subjects. From Semester 6 onwards, students move into clinical subjects and spend most of their time in bedside teaching at partner teaching hospitals, allowing them to gain practical exposure in a real clinical setting.

Entry Requirement

  • Pass with minimum of 5 credits with Grade B in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics / Additional Mathematics, and another subject.

  • Minimum CGPA 3.0 in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in each subject.

  • Minimum BBB / ABC / AAC in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.

  • Minimum 5 credits with B4 in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Mathematics I or Mathematics, and Advanced Mathematics II or Advanced Mathematics.

  • Minimum CGPA 3.0 in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in each subject

  • Successful completion of a Foundation in Science / Pre-Medical programme with minimum CGPA 3.0 in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in each subject

  • Successful completion of a Diploma in Health Sciences or equivalent with minimum CGPA 3.5
  • programme must be at least 5 semesters / 2½ years and completed in the same institution. In addition, at SPM/O-Level or equivalent, minimum 2 Grade Bs in any 2 subjects: Biology and/or Chemistry and/or Physics, and credits in English, Mathematics / Additional Mathematics, and another subject.

  • Minimum average of 80% in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.

  • Minimum ATAR 80, provided the subjects include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.

  • Minimum overall score of 33 points, with Biology and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL) and Mathematics at HL, and a minimum score of 5 each in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • Minimum aggregate or equivalent of B in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.

  • Successful completion of a relevant Bachelor Degree in Health / Pure / Applied Sciences with minimum CGPA 3.0 for entry into the 5-year medical programme
  • OR Successful completion of a relevant Bachelor Degree in Arts / Humanities with minimum CGPA 3.5 for entry into the 5-year medical programme
