The Master of Business Administration (General Management) programme is designed to equip learners with an understanding of core business and management disciplines, with an emphasis on management skills and the development of new ideas in analysis, problem‑solving, decision‑making, effective communication and leadership. Its core components cover the management of human resources, the business environment, change and general resources, delivered through focused modules and a project dissertation that promotes in‑depth understanding and interactive teaching and learning. The modules draw from a wide range of business and management disciplines including economics, marketing, information systems, statistics, human resource management and law.

Entry Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Related Field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the HEP Senate, OR with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, but below 2.50, may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment by the HEP.
Bachelor’s degree in Non-Related Field with Relevant Work Experience - with minimum CGPA of 2.00, as accepted by the HEP Senate, with relevant working experience, subject to rigorous internal assessment, OR Without Work Experience - with minimum CGPA of 2.00, as accepted by the HEP Senate, without relevant working experience, subject to passing prerequisite courses.

MUET: Minimum Band 4 (equivalent to CEFR Mid B2)
IELTS: Minimum score 6.0
TOEFL iBT: Minimum score 60
Pearson Test of English (PTE): Minimum score 59
Cambridge English Qualification / Tests: Minimum score 169

Any other equivalent or related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.
