The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Quantity Surveying is fully accredited by the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS), enabling graduates to pursue the Chartered Quantity Surveyor title globally. It imparts essential building construction knowledge and equips students with analytical, measurement, cost estimation, project management, problem-solving and communication skills. The programme features industry recognition, emphasis on critical analytical skills and value engineering, experienced lecturers, and real industry projects guided by academic and industry experts. It offers a multicultural learning environment and is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, preparing graduates for careers as Quantity Surveyors, Contract and Cost Administrators, Property and Commercial Executives, Procurement Advisors, or Contract/Project Executives.

Entry Requirement

  • Pass with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 3 subjects

  • Pass with minimum Grade D in any 3 subjects

  • Pass with minimum CGPA 2.50

  • Pass with minimum CGPA 2.50

  • Successful completion of a relevant Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field with CGPA 2.67 for Year 1 entry, or BQSM-accredited Diploma with CGPA 2.67 for direct Year 2 entry (subject to credit transfer)

  • Considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with MOHE, MQA, and BQSM requirements.
