Description

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior Architecture is a forward‑thinking programme that prepares creative and competent graduates for the global interior architecture industry. Accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and recognised by the Board of Architects, Malaysia, it equips students with technical skills in design and building technology, as well as knowledge in cultural contexts and sustainability. Taught by lecturers with substantial industry experience, the programme covers a comprehensive curriculum including Architecture Principles, Environmental Psychology and Advanced Computer Modelling, and features an ‘Industry into Classroom’ initiative where students engage in real industry projects guided by academic and industry professionals. With a diverse international learning environment, the programme enhances students’ global perspectives and prepares them for various interior architecture careers from technical assistants to project managers.

Entry Requirement

  • Pass with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in 2 subjects.

  • Pass in 2 subjects.

  • Pass with at least Grade B in 5 subjects.

  • Pass in a Foundation programme in a related field from a Higher Education Provider recognised by the Malaysian Government with minimum CGPA of 2.00.

  • Pass in a Diploma in a related field from a Higher Education Provider recognised by the Malaysian Government with minimum CGPA of 2.00.

  • Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government
  • Pass in Art or Technical Drawing subject at SPM or equivalent, OR Pass in a portfolio assessment/interview for applicants who did not take or did not pass the Art subject.
