Description

The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) programme at the University of Cyberjaya is a two-year, full-time professional postgraduate programme designed to develop pharmacy specialists equipped for advanced roles in healthcare. The programme focuses on strengthening clinical and healthcare service competencies, including medication therapy management, disease-state management, and patient education.Students receive extensive clinical training that prepares them to work in diverse practice settings such as hospitals, community pharmacies, home healthcare services, managed care systems, and both government and private healthcare agencies. Eligible local graduates may also undergo Provisional Registered Pharmacist (PRP) training at UoC, further enhancing their professional readiness.The programme aims to produce clinical pharmacists capable of delivering advanced pharmaceutical care, managing therapeutic planning and monitoring, and improving medication systems. Graduates are trained to provide pharmaceutical care to patients, manage pharmacy and medication distribution systems, promote public health initiatives, and collaborate effectively with healthcare providers while delivering accurate drug information and education.

Entry Requirement

  • A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate
  • OR A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
