Description

The Master of Medical Science programme is designed to develop fully equipped research scientists capable of contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practice in medical sciences. The programme requires candidates to undertake an in-depth study and evaluation of an approved research topic, culminating in a dissertation, while cultivating strong critical thinking and research competencies. Upon completion of their research, candidates are required to defend their findings through an oral examination, demonstrating mastery of their research area and readiness to contribute meaningfully to the medical and scientific community.

Entry Requirement

  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent are eligible for admission. Candidates with a CGPA between 2.50 and 2.75 may also be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment. Applicants with a CGPA below 2.50 may be considered if they possess at least five years of relevant working experience, also subject to internal assessment.
