The Master in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programme at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) provides comprehensive education and practical expertise in addressing workplace safety and health challenges through effective decision-making and problem-solving. The programme develops graduates’ analytical, communication, and research writing skills through the completion of a dissertation within their chosen field of study.Students gain advanced knowledge in key areas such as ergonomics, industrial hygiene, occupational health research, and OSH management systems, preparing them to operate effectively in diverse industries within an increasingly globalised work environment. In addition, eligible graduates may register with IOSH UK and obtain IOSH membership, further strengthening their professional credentials and career opportunities in occupational safety and health.

Entry Requirement

  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the Malaysian government and the University, are eligible for admission. Candidates with a CGPA between 2.00 and 2.50 in a related field may also be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment. Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 may be considered if they have at least three years of relevant working experience, also subject to internal assessment, while those without relevant working experience must pass prerequisite courses before admission.
