Description

The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) is a comprehensive five years degree designed to equip students with strong medical knowledge, clinical competencies, and professional skills required for successful careers as medical practitioners. Structured in two phases covering Basic Medical Sciences and Clinical Sciences, the programme integrates student centred and problem based learning with early clinical exposure, ensuring students develop critical thinking and practical decision making abilities essential for medical practice. Entry Requirement

  • Minimum of five Bs in SPM/O-Levels or equivalent, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, and one additional subject.

  • Grades BBB, ABC, or AAC, or a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) in three subjects, namely Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.

  • Minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, provided the course is at least one year in duration at the same accredited institution, and applicants must also obtain a minimum of five Bs in SPM/O-Level or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, and one additional subject.

  • Minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, provided the course is at least one year in duration at the same accredited institution, and applicants must also obtain a minimum of five Bs in SPM/O-Level or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, and one additional subject.

  • Diploma in Health Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (out of 4.00), provided the programme is at least five semesters or 2½ years in the same accredited institution, and the minimum entry qualification includes at least 2 Bs in Biology and/or Chemistry and/or Physics, as well as three credits in English, Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, and one additional subject at SPM level or its equivalent.
  • Degree in Health or Pure or Applied Sciences at Bachelor’s level with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) for entry into a 5-year medical programme, or a minimum CGPA of 3.30 (out of 4.00) for entry into a 4-year graduate-entry medical programme.

  • IB Diploma with a minimum overall score of 33 points, including Biology and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL) and Mathematics at HL, and a minimum score of 5 in each of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • Degree in Health or Pure or Applied Sciences at Bachelor’s level with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) for entry into a 5-year medical programme, or a minimum CGPA of 3.30 (out of 4.00) for entry into a 4-year graduate-entry medical programme.

  • Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR): obtain a minimum rank of 80%, with subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.
  • Indian Pre-University: obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the National Medical Commission India and pass the NEET examination, with an average of at least 70% in three subjects, namely Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.
