The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Tourism Management with a specialism in Hospitality is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of travel, tourism, hospitality, and events activities, preparing them for executive management and leadership roles in the industry. Students gain technical and operational expertise while emphasizing sustainability and economic, environmental, sociocultural, and technological factors. The programme provides exposure to both theoretical and practical aspects of tourism and hospitality businesses and develops a wide range of employable skills, including research, product and destination development, marketing, critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective written and oral communication.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum of 2 passes in STPM with Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subjects

  • Minimum of 2 passes (Grade A–D) in A-Level subjects

  • Minimum 5 credits (5Bs)

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.0 in the relevant Foundation programme

  • Successful completion of a relevant Foundation programme (minimum CGPA of 2.0)

  • Successful completion of the APU Diploma or Successful completion of studies in another recognised institute with academic credits equivalent to Level 1 of an Honours Degree
