Description

The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) programme at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) is a comprehensive four-year degree designed to equip students with in-depth pharmaceutical knowledge, professional competencies, and practical skills required for diverse careers in community, hospital, clinical, and industrial pharmacy settings. The programme covers core areas such as pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical care, and pharmacy practice, while incorporating emerging fields including veterinary pharmacy, military pharmacy, disaster and relief medicine, and nutraceuticals, combining academic learning with extensive hands-on experiential training from the first year. Through placements in pharmaceutical companies, healthcare facilities, and research centres, students gain real-world exposure and develop technical, professional, and interpersonal skills essential for modern pharmacy practice. Emphasising industry relevance, innovation, and professional standards, the programme prepares graduates to meet current healthcare demands while enabling progression into specialised pharmacy fields or advanced professional practice.

Entry Requirement

  • Mandatory requirement: applicants must obtain a minimum of five Bs in SPM or O-Level examinations, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, and one additional subject.

  • or General Certificate of Education Ordinary (“O”) Levels or equivalent with 2 Bs each in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Mathematics and credits in 3 other subjects.
  • Diploma in Science: Diploma in Science (Chemistry or Biology or Physics) from any HEI recognised by MQA and MOHE with a minimum CGPA 3.75 including minimum B for Chemistry, with SPM/O-Level/equivalent with minimum 5 Bs in the following subjects: Biology
