The Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering Technology (Honours) at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) is a four years programme designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical competencies in biomedical engineering technology, preparing graduates for professional roles in medical technology and healthcare engineering sectors. The programme covers essential areas such as medical instrumentation, biomaterials, biomechanics, biomedical signal processing, medical imaging, biomedical electronics, and biomedical computing, combining theoretical instruction with extensive hands-on training involving medical devices and healthcare equipment. Through laboratory work, technical projects, and industry relevant practical exposure, students develop the technical, analytical, and problem solving skills required to design, analyse, maintain, and troubleshoot biomedical systems and equipment. Accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) of the Board of Engineers Malaysia and recognised under the Sydney Accord, the programme emphasises academic quality, industry relevance, and professional standards, ensuring graduates are well prepared for careers as biomedical engineering technologists or for further professional and academic advancement in engineering and healthcare technology fields.
