The Bachelor of Science (Health, Safety and Environment) at Curtin Malaysia prepares students to specialise in identifying and managing workplace risks, ensuring safe and healthy environments. The programme develops professional skills in critical thinking, information literacy, and technology, equipping graduates for careers in the expanding field of occupational health and safety. First-year studies are inter-professional, taken alongside other health sciences students. In the second and third years, students focus on risk and hazard management, decision-making, and injury and illness prevention. Practical experience includes a 100-hour second-year placement and a 150-hour third-year placement, providing real-world skills and workplace exposure.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum 2 grade C+ (GPA 2.33) and 1 grade C (GPA 2.0) in any 3 subjects
