Description

The Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering)(Honours) equips students with the knowledge and skills to design, build, and manage essential infrastructure that supports communities. Graduates work on projects such as roads, bridges, railways, harbours, dams, tunnels, water and wastewater systems, power facilities, offshore structures, and commercial or industrial buildings. The programme develops a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and material science, enabling students to analyse structural performance under varying loads. Collaboration with planners, architects, and environmental scientists, along with resource management and budget planning, prepares graduates for successful careers. First-year studies cover core engineering subjects alongside other disciplines, building essential expertise for specialisation.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum 2 grade B (CGPA 3.0) and grade C+ (CGPA 2.33) in any 3 subjects

  • Minimum of CC/D in any 3 subjects

  • Minimum 5 credits (2B4s) and 3B5s
