The Bachelor of Engineering (Energy Engineering)(Honours) at Curtin Malaysia prepares students for careers in the emerging field of Energy in Transition, focusing on energy efficiency and reducing fossil fuel use. The programme covers conventional and renewable energy technologies, including geothermal, hydrogen systems, sustainable energy, and environmental compliance. Aligned with global sustainability goals and national energy strategies, graduates gain expertise to advance low-carbon and innovative energy solutions. Following the Engineering Foundation Year, students explore energy engineering fundamentals and may specialise in Energy Conversion Technologies, Low Carbon Transition, Subsurface Energy Engineering, or Power Systems Engineering. Final-year projects provide practical, research, and design experience, preparing graduates for global energy careers.
