The Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering)(Honours) equips students with the knowledge and skills to develop, design, and operate chemical processes and plants using chemical and biological systems. The programme prepares graduates to contribute to diverse industries, including petroleum refining, gas processing, petrochemicals, polymers, biopharmaceutics, food processing, fertiliser production, metals and minerals extraction, paper manufacturing, and biomass processing. In the first year, students study core engineering subjects such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics alongside other engineering disciplines to build a strong foundation. This pathway develops technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and practical skills for a successful career in chemical engineering and related industries.
