Description

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to address complex and applied psychological issues. Students will develop strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities, alongside proficiency in scientific research methods using technological tools and software. The programme fosters effective communication of ideas and research findings through written, oral, and visual means, while promoting leadership and ethical decision-making in social contexts. Graduates will be capable of designing and conducting both quantitative and qualitative research, identifying relevant information sources, and applying evidence-based approaches to solve real-world psychological problems.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum of 2 passes in STPM with Grade C (GP 2.0), credit in Mathematics and a Science subject (Chemistry, Physics, or Biology), and a pass in English at SPM level or its equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 passes (Grade A–D) in A-Level subjects and a Credit in Mathematics and Science/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Biology, and a Pass in English at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 credits (5Bs) with a Credit in Mathematics and Science/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Biology, and a Pass in English at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent.

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.0 in the relevant Foundation programme with a Credit in Mathematics and Science/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Biology, and a Pass in English at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent.

  • Successful completion of a relevant Foundation programme (minimum CGPA of 2.0) with a Credit in Mathematics and Science/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Biology, and a Pass in English at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent.
