Description

The Foundation in Engineering and Science at Curtin Malaysia provides an intensive pre-university pathway designed to ensure a smooth transition into undergraduate study. Upon successful completion, students meet entry requirements for their chosen degrees while establishing a strong academic foundation. The programme offers two pathways, Engineering and Science, covering mathematics, physics, chemistry, and programming. Students also develop transferable skills including critical analysis, academic discipline, and adaptability. This foundation prepares students for undergraduate studies in engineering, computing, technology, applied geology, and health, safety, and environment, equipping them with confidence, clarity, and readiness for future STEM-focused academic and professional success worldwide careers.

Entry Requirement

  • Engineering stream｣ｺPass with minimum of 5 Credits including English, Mathematics and Physics
  • Science Stream : Pass with minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and one (1) relevant Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science subject AND a pass in English

  • Pass with a minimum of 5 credits, including English, Mathematics, and one Science subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or General Science)

  • Minimum 3 credits (3Bs) in relevant academic subjects, including a pass in English

  • Any other qualification will be considered on a case-to-case basis
