The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Engineering at Asia Pacific University (APU) is designed to develop independent researchers and scholars capable of advancing knowledge in various engineering disciplines. The programme provides students with the opportunity to conduct in-depth research on complex engineering problems, applying innovative methodologies and technical expertise. Candidates will enhance their analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while contributing to the development of practical and theoretical solutions in areas such as mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, computer, and petroleum engineering. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in research, academia, and industry, or for progression to a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme.

Entry Requirement

"Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or a CGPA of 2.50 subject to a rigorous internal assessment
or a CGPA of 2.00 subject to a minimum of 5 years’ working experience in the relevant fields and a rigorous internal assessment, all as accepted by the Senate.
