Description

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Monash University Malaysia is a research-focused programme designed for high-performing science graduates who want to deepen their expertise and gain advanced knowledge in their chosen discipline. This one-year programme combines specialised coursework with an independent research project, allowing students to work closely with experienced academics on topics in areas such as biotechnology, chemistry, environmental biology, genetics, or microbiology. Every Month, students develop strong research, analytical, and scientific communication skills while gaining hands-on experience using modern laboratory techniques and research methods. The Honours year also prepares graduates for professional scientific roles or further postgraduate study, including Master’s and PhD programmes, by building a solid foundation in research design, critical thinking, and scientific problem-solving.

Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of Bachelor of Science at Monash University or an equivalent degree, and obtained a distinction grade average (70 per cent) or above in 24 points of studies in relevant units at level three, and met the normal Monash University English language requirements for undergraduate students.
