The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computing programme at BAC, offered in both full-time and part-time modes, is a doctoral research degree designed to develop advanced knowledge and research expertise in computing, information technology, and related disciplines. Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a Master’s Degree in Computing or related fields, as accepted by the HEP Senate
  • or successful completion of a Master’s Degree in non-Computing fields with a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in Computing or related fields, subject to appropriate prerequisite courses as determined by the HEP
  • or successful completion of a Master’s Degree in non-Computing fields with less than five (5) years of working experience in Computing or related fields, subject to appropriate prerequisite courses as determined by the HEP and rigorous internal assessment
  • or successful completion of other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree in Computing or related fields recognised by the Government of Malaysia, subject to appropriate prerequisite courses as determined by the HEP
  • or successful completion of any equivalent degree, subject to University Senate approval.
