Description

The BA (Hons) Social Media Management programme is designed to prepare students for strategic and creative roles in today’s fast-paced digital and social media environment. The programme focuses on planning, creating and managing social media content across multiple platforms while understanding audience behaviour, digital trends and online communities. Students develop practical skills in content creation, social media strategy, analytics, influencer marketing, brand storytelling and digital campaign management. The course also emphasises critical thinking, ethical communication and data-driven decision-making to ensure effective and responsible online engagement. Through hands-on projects, real-world case studies and industry-relevant assignments, students gain the experience needed to manage brand presence, grow online communities and measure campaign performance. Graduates are well equipped for careers as social media managers, digital strategists, content creators, community managers or to pursue further studies in digital media and communications.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum of grade C in 2 subjects and an average CGPA of 2.0

  • Minimum of grade D in 2 subjects

  • Successful completion of IACT College Foundation in Media Studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.0
  • or successful completion of any other relevant Foundation programme or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
