Description

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science (Cyber Security) is designed to equip students with technical knowledge and skills in the design and organisation of computer systems, with a strong focus on cyber security. The programme develops the ability to critically evaluate design paradigms, programming languages, algorithms, and techniques used to develop complex software systems related to cyber security. Graduates also gain the capacity to identify, evaluate, and leverage opportunities for developing and applying new technologies and applications in cyber security, preparing them for careers in protecting information systems and managing digital threats.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum grade C (CGPA 2.0) in any 2 subjects with a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level / a credit in Mathematics and any one Science or ICT subject at SPM level / passes in STPM Science stream with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in Mathematics and one Science or ICT subject, or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum of 2 passes (Grade A–D) in A-Level subjects, with a pass in Mathematics and one Science or ICT subject, or a credit in Additional Mathematics, or a credit in Mathematics and a Science or ICT subject at SPM, O-Level, IGCSE, or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 credits (5Bs) including Mathematics and one Science or ICT subject.
  • Minimum 5 credits (5Bs) including Additional Mathematics.
  • Minimum 5 credits (5Bs) with Credit in Mathematics and Science or ICT Subject at SPM or equivalent

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.0 in Matriculation or Foundation studies, with a credit in Additional Mathematics, or a credit in Mathematics and a Science or ICT subject at SPM, IGCSE, O-Level, or equivalent, and a pass in English at SPM, IGCSE, or O-Level.
