This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills required to attend to the nursing needs of infants and children in particular, and of their parents and families as a whole.Students will also learn how to show care and concern for their patients, and to demonstrate the correct attitude towards them. They will explore such subjects as physiology, pathophysiology, nutritional requirements in infants and children, practical application of theoretical knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, the impact of illness and hospitalization on children, communication skills and much more.

Entry Requirement

Successful completion of a Diploma in Nursing from an institution recognised by the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB).

Registered with the MNB.
Possess current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses from MNB.
Minimum two (2) years clinical working experience.
